7-20 Day 10 Chiliwack BC to Port Angeles Wa
Sitting at the ferry terminal in Vancouver waiting in line
On this ferry you just jam a couple of blocks of wood underneath and call it good.
This is the lifeboat rack on the ferry
It's a busy harbor, lots of other ferries and tugboats, lots of commerce here
The sky seemed extra blue here
A coupla pics taken at the stern of the ship of Dad and I enjoying the beautiful day
Almost time to be free
Dad didn't seem very happy about this picture
A tribute to our hosts, on Victoria Island, BC
A old hotel near the capitol
Some pretty slick looking boats in the harbor here, A LOT of money here I would imagine
This is the parliament building for British Columbia
One of the queens of England, honestly not sure which one
You could take stage rides around the capital
This guy was doing a variety comedy juggling show on the docks
Everything here was immaculate, except for chip sealed roads everywhere Canada sure seemed clean
Must be rough to have a speedboat AND a lifeboat on the back of your boat
Here comes our next ferry
This is how the captain guides the ferry into the dock
Tying up your bike on this ferry is TERRIFYING!!! I ran extra straps to make it somewhat stable, some of the other bikes just ran the single rope provided
Say Goodbye to Canada
Back to the good ol' US of A
Even cruise ships stop here
Looking ahead the sky does not look so inviting
Last Boats you see as you leave Victoria Island
Into the fog on the way to the states
This is one of my favorite pics because it almost looks like it is in black and white even tho its in color... Last pic I took on the way into Port Angeles
